Red Springs is a thriving, energetic, warm, robust, family oriented, town; one that cares for the needs of all its citizens; a place everyone can call home. Ours is a progressive community committed to excellence in education and continuously working to improve our quality of life through beautification, environmental amenities and exceptional delivery of public services. Culturally diverse, we embrace our rich heritage as we work in unity and with respect seeking economic opportunities for continued progress and prosperity.

A note from the STEP Secretary...

This blog is a public record of the Red Springs STEP Project going back to June 2010. Helpful additions or corrections are welcome to improve and maintain accuracy.

Through this blog we wish to recognize dozens of our citizens who have been volunteering, in some cases hundreds of hours, to help create economic prosperity for Red Springs through the STEP Project. Together we have made tremendous progress and now have only a few months left to prepare our materials for the Red Springs City Council.

Caroline Kennedy said, "As much as we need a prosperous economy, we also need a prosperity of kindness and decency." We welcome your comments!
